After only 24 hours in the L.A. salsa scene, they are convinced
that they are living in the wrong city. Peter is planning on a 2 month stay here to
totally absorb the latin dance technique and energy.
Mary is in love with the sun, palm trees and the great latin salsa dancers. We are
hitting a night club every night of the week so we'll keep you posted.
Sat. night- Mayan. We had a
great time- The Mayan contest was a great chance to see this cities talented dancers.
Peter was shocked to see so many great dancers in one place. Mary danced up a storm.
Sun. night- Steven's Steak House- It was a little more
subdued but fun just the same.
Mon. night- We all crashed after a tiring day of shopping and
walking and eating at the Cheesecake Factory.
Tues. night- Kouries in Long Beach was hopping. Some
great dancers were there and we worked off about 15 pounds between the 3 of us.
Wed. night- MamaGuyas- We got wild and danced up a storm that
night. Thurs. night- Conga Room. It was a great
atmosphere and Peter & Mary were both ready to move.
Fri. night- Mayan. Peter & Mary took the class that
Rogelio & I offered and then we stayed and grooved to the live band and different
varieties of music.
Sat. night-Mayan. After a day at Venice Beach, we were
all a little worn out but we managed to close the place anyway.
They had an amazing dancing week and are planning their trip to come back this summer.
They left this morning and I miss them already.
