Once again, George Watabi, the Ichiban (#1) promoter of salsa in Asia
invited Josie and Alvaro for a return visit with all the Japanese salsa
lovers.
This year's visit to Japan was an exciting one with many new experiences.
Louie Angon & Theresa Garcia, two L.A. salsa instructors, teamed up with
Josie and Alvaro for several workshops and a big performance for the "Day of
Salsa" celebration.
We performed and taught workshops in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

George took Josie and Alvaro to Kyoto, oldest city in Japan, for a
special engagement performance at Repos Nightclub. Josie and Alvaro performed three shows for the enthusiastic crowd. Josie
had a slight mishap with her costume as she lost her bikini bottoms and had
to run offstage quickly before the crowd realized what happened. George mentioned that he would be writing about this hysterical moment
in his Salsa Diary and that he would also describe Josie's reaction to
showing the world her underpants.
